About this property

Lakeside Retreat: A Nature Lover’s Escape

Explore 6 acres of lakeside land - beautiful and private. Spend lazy days on the dock and roasting s’mores in the eve and listening to the loons call at night.

Shallow entry and 2 docks makes this great swimming for the kids.

Take one of 5 boats for some excellent fishing (bass and rainbow trout) or explore the lake.

Rainy days? Enjoy with 2 smart tvs, fast wifi, or go down to the games area for some fun.
The space
This cottage has pine walls, wood floors and is recently renovated with a new kitchen (dishwasher, microwave), comfy queen beds, 2 pull out sofa beds, wide tub with shower.
Living room is surrounded by windows with views of the trees and the water.

Walk out to the deck and sit in the sun in the patio furniture or grill up to food to go with your cocktails as you watch the sunset.

A wide pathway leads you 120 feet down to the 2 docks and clean pure water - about 6 feet off the end of the long dock. Explore the lake with 2 canoes, 1 paddle boat, 1 wider fishing boat and a foam sailboat.

Bunkie is a one minute walk from cottage and very private with it’s own deck, mini fridge, small kitchenette and double bed.
Guest access
It’s all yours to explore!
Other things to note
The lake road to cottage is a dirt road - long, hilly and windy - at times there are some big potholes.
Travel safely and watch for the turns. When you get to a dead end you know you’ve arrived!! Our cottage is the last one on road.

Nice place to stay.

100% need a coat rack at front doors, there was nowhere for ppl to put their winter clothes.Should be made clear the bunkie cabin is not available during the winter, we couldn’t t even find it after 3 days of looking for it. Were were expecting 4 usable bedrooms.

Relaxing Week!

We had a great week relaxing on the two docks, swimming, paddle boarding and canoeing. And the fish were biting, which was a bonus. The cabin interior is nicely done with knotty pine everywhere, and great beds and furniture. We would recommend this place.

Perfect secluded cottage

This was the perfect cottage. If you like to feel secluded this is the place to stay. Great indoor and outdoor fire places to sit around, we enjoyed playing board games on stormy nights and gazed at the immaculate stars from the dock on clear ones. The cottage and property had so much to offer we didn't leave once in 3 nights. Beautiful lake, we enjoyed sippong.our coffee on the dock, paddle boarding and paddle boating. There's lots of different wildlife in the area including a very friendly resident chipmunk. We didn't use the Bunkie but it was a GREAT addition to have, even just to explore the marsh with binoculars from the deck. Highly recommend staying here, would be great with kids too. 10/10 wouldn't change a thing.
