About this property

Leave the devices at home and enjoy the serenity

Definitely different, this unique architecturally designed home boasts a fabulous 3 story viewing tower with queen bedrooms located on level 1 and level 2, and endless ocean views from the top of the Tower.

An open plan living area (with 2x single sleeping spots) connects with the kitchen, complete with all the necessities (oven, cooktop, large fridge, microwave & coffee pod machine).

A lovely big deck spans the front of the property with a bbq and a hammock nestled amongst the garden foliage. The top level of the tower has direct views right down to Cylinder Beach. Enjoy a sunset from the tower each afternoon with a drink in hand.

The private outdoor shower tops off this unique property, where you can listen to the birds chirping and the frogs croaking whilst showering ….all with the sound of the waves crashing in the distance.

This property is very unique and architecturally designed making it a very special house. One minute walk to Cylinder Beach and the Straddie Hotel, it is very central. There is only one car space but you can park extra cars on the side streets.

This space is large and airy which would be great for entertaining or if you have a large group of people. There are plenty of bedding options that are around the house. 2 double bed options separate to the house and 5 beds in the living room. I found the general condition of the house to be average. It seemed like the house has been renovated but not done professionally. A few things I liked: the large deck area was a good hang out spot. Location was great as we walked to restaurants and the bowls club. All about 15min or more walk around Point Lookout. The viewing deck was good but could do with a cushion on the bench. Things that need improving: the cupboards and all kitchen draws smelt really bad. They have clearly not be attended to in some time. I rewashed everything before using it. There was only one spare toilet roll provided which I think is just poor form for the price you are paying. Also no shampoo or conditioner which is really just standard practice for a property of this price range. Unfortunately there was a very bad smell next to the bathroom when we got home on our last night. There is a locked mini fridge and it smelt like bait might have been going off and was producing a terrible smell. Note: No wifi at this house. No air conditioning. This would definitely be a problem in the summer. Even in 24 degrees the bedrooms were too hot in the sun. There are fans and large windows but you couldn't rest in there until the evening.
