The Apple Room

Your spacious suite with gas fireplace is in the family home, nestled in a sunny forest, setback quietly off an easy access main road in Beachcombers, Gibsons, B.C. Enjoy all the amenities of this oceanside town. Close to beach and local shops but set in the woods. Wheelchair accessible suite with a queen bed, exposed beam, bathroom has a wheel in shower and grab bars for piece of mind. Cable/Netflix/YouTube/WiFi, coffee maker and tea. There is a $20 fee for each friendly pet per night.

The space:
The suite is located in the home.
Private safe parking, 2 ponds for viewing pond life and for families of deer that frequent the property. Enjoy a fresh brewed tea or coffee on the front deck overlooking one of the ponds. Chickens and honeybees working hard all day. Grab something from the garden, berries or an apple from one of the many trees to choose from. 5-minute walk to a school playground. Walking distance to a Brewhouse and Distillery. Enjoy golf or mountain biking. Jump off one of the docks into the beautiful ocean. The stars twinkle bright in the night sky.

Front deck as well as front and back yards.

During your stay:
Owner will be available 24/7 and lives on the premise.
Small level of farm and family noise to be expected.

There is a $20/hour cash fee if you want to check out after 11am.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Wonderfully clean, well appointed room. Thoughtful and super friendly host. Honestly felt like we were staying with relatives. Fantastic place in the country. Beautiful. Will definitely stay again!

Very pleasant host but the room had no place to hang clothes and virtually no drawer space. The separation from the busy main part of the house was a table blocking the way to a dining room. Yard and patio were lovely.

The Apple Room was great!
The Apple Room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Our host, Tea was very welcoming, communicative and was always available to answer or address any questions and concerns. I would highly recommend this property to any visitors to the Sunshine Coast.

Very peaceful place! Can hear owners through the closed door, but based on the layout of the place, it’s almost unavoidable. Room was very clean and comfortable, great for 1 or 2 nights! There isn’t a kitchen, only a microwave and a mini fridge so keep that in mind when booking. Other than that The Apple Room is a very comfortable space on a lovely property! Definitely recommend!

Single room attached to main house
The room was clean, check in was easy, and the host was communicative. The single room was as described online. We booked with vrbo based on the understanding that all vrbo locations are separate from the host’s house; however, the room was off the living room and from the entrance we could see into the host’s house. We were woken up at 2 am when the host came home, and did not feel like we had a lot of privacy. Based on advertisements from vrbo we expected something different.

Clean, spacious, comfortable.
Clean, spacious and homey. Make sure to take a stroll to the back yard to check out the chickens, and buy some fresh eggs from Tea. We had a wonderful time staying here on our way to Tetrahedron for a camping trek, and we had a nice comfortable time dining and beer/cider tasting nearby

Very comfortable and everything you need available. Very hospitable and friendly host Tiny suggestion to have a reflective house number at the gate as a little difficult to see the current one at night. Highly recommend this place .
