Head to the east and you pass the bus stop 50m from the house and a further 200m is the Fernhill Reserve with children’s playground and picnic area, and access to the world famous Fernhill walking tracks and Wynward Bike Park.
Guests have full and private access to the whole house and garden including the new, large, lockable storage shed at the rear of the carport, which is perfect for storing bikes, golf clubs & ski/snow gear.
Red Peaks is a recently renovated, warm and comfortable holiday retreat. The space is light and bright with freshly painted walls and new furnishings.
The living area captures great sun and has beautiful views of the lake and mountains. An extra treat is the cozy reading nook under the stairs which also captures the view and is a perfect spot for enjoying a good book while lounging on the New Zealand sheepskin beanbag.
The living area is connected to the dining area which opens onto the newly built deck. There is art throughout Red Peaks and above the dining table is a large artistic map of the Queenstown area and biking and hiking trails. Whether planning your day over breakfast or debriefing over dinner, this is a lovely addition to your stay.
The deck features a Weber barbeque, outdoor dining for six and casual seating, as well as stunning lake views and mountain views in all directions.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, and the four bar stools around the kitchen bench create a social atmosphere perfect for chatting while dinner is being prepared.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room and access to the back yard and secure storage shed for sporting gear if required.
The master bedroom is downstairs, off a short hallway which can be closed off offering privacy and peace and quiet. There is a renovated bathroom including freestanding bath adjacent to the bedroom. All the bedrooms are large, have new super comfortable king size beds, wardrobe space and views to the lake.
Upstairs the landing area has two single beds, ideal to use if you have a group of friends not wanting to share beds (these beds are only to be used if pre-arranged with The Butler). The two bedrooms upstairs have desk spaces with lake views and the king beds can be split into singles if required (please advise needs when booking). This means all six guests can have their own beds. The upstairs bedrooms also have their own bathroom.
Outside, the landscaped garden offers even more breathtaking views and space to play, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation.
