Comfortable and Convenient

The unit, while small, is very comfortable and in a great location. Many things are walkable and the underground parking is very easy and convenient.

Sleep was impossible due to crowd noise in the street below. It was Halloween but there was little enough soundproofing in the apartment that it sounded like the city was being burned to the ground by rioting mobs right on our doorstep. Earplugs were provided for guests, which is always a bad sign, and unfortunately turned out to be accurate. The apartment is in an excellent location and is well equipped, but the noise problem overshadowed everything else for us. I would recommend it for the first two factors, but you will definitely be rolling the dice with the third.

Don't stay here in the summer

The property was fine, but is like a green house. The tiny portable ac unit couldn't come close to cooling the apartment, with temps inside reaching over 80 degrees(F) which made impossible to be in during the day, and sleep almost impossible.

A good stay

We had a few days on our second visit to Vancouver and wanted somewhere different to downtown. Good option. It's close enough to Canada Place or transport. It's also close to Yaletown and what it has to offer in the way of eateries etc. The walk to the river is good and a ferry to Granville Island right there for a good day out. Amenities were adequate if you want to save on eating out. The Post is also close enough for groceries and a more complete option than the 3 or 4 stores closer by. Seymour St is quite easy to get about, centrally located to travel most popular destinations. Other people in the building seem nice too and the guy at the front door for security is pleasant. Quiet apartment considering city location. The stairs to access the bedroom would make it hard for some but otherwise the spaces are good. Having Netflix was a pleasant surprise when stopped for the day. Claudia was fairly prompt and easy to communicate with. A good host.

Not Terrible but not Great

What was good: 1. Stocked extremely well. All the toilet paper, paper towels, all kinds of soaps and detergents you need are here. Even the tub had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Even better, the kitchen had plastic wrap! 2. Great location, very convenient to the attractions 3. Good view 4. Large fridge 5. Full sized dishwasher which we used 6. Full-sized washer and dryer which we did use 7. Some basic supplies like vinegar, sugar, salt, oil, which saved us from having to to buy them 8. There are fans in the unit to help cool it in the late afternoon Needs improvement: 1. Very hot, had to keep the windows open all the time. This let in a lot of screams from celebrating bar patrons over the hockey tournament that week. No A/C in the unit 2. Unit is partially renovated. Kitchen island and stairs are all scratched up 3. The Jacuzzi brand tub has no jets, it’s not a true hot tub 4. Living room furniture was uncomfortable. Dining table too high to use. 5. No welcome binder, no instructions for the TV, which did not work at first due to a loose connection on the Apple TV box 6. Concrete floors were unattractive, and slippery if you didn’t use a bath mat. 7. Supplies and dirty vacuum cleaner are stored under the stairs and is very messy looking 8. Kitchen needs under cabinet lighting. It was very difficult to see in the kitchen. Only the stove has a light over it and it was quite dim
