When I am looking for an AirB&B, we are looking for a place that feels like a home away from home....home base. We so appreciated the accommodations and the owners excellent communication.
Very nice place and quietly situated in the woods away from the main roads. Everything you need for bathing, cooking and a nice fireplace definitely recommended
Everything was just great, the host was very pleasant and able to reach if we had any questions. Great distance from the lake, very peaceful and relaxing. Definitely coming back again!
Stayed for 2 nights with my son for his fishing tournament. Home was clean, well equipped and very cute. Beds are comfortable, towels were soft, home had everything we needed and is decorated so cute.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The quaint, cozy cottage was exactly what we needed! It was very close to the fish ramp for the the fishing tournament. We will be back!
Stayed for a sporting event at the Olympic rowing center. Great location. Super comfy home. Plenty of space inside and out to have small group. Super comfy beds! Perfect for our needs. Will be back next time in town!
Cute cottage close to the lake. Our son was in a kayaking competition at the Olympic Park- this little cottage was 5 minutes away! We were out early and back late, but we appreciated this little home away from home.
We stayed in August and appreciated the cool constant air conditioning. The cottage was perfect for three or four people. The two bedrooms are close so we can keep an eye on the children. The kitchen was well stocked and cozy. Wi-Fi worked great. The bathrooms were clean, water, pressure good. It had everything we needed.
We were here for a family weekend trip and we all LOVED this house.
So cozy and clean and decorated beautifully. All the beds comfy with nice linens. More room downstairs too so we could spread out. Every appliance you need and so close to the lake. Just a short drive.
Would definitely stay here again!!
.
House was very nice and located very close to the boat ramp at linear park. There is very limited parking for boat trailers and the carport ceiling is starting to come down so we could not park under the carport otherwise was a very very nice stay-and we hope to go back to Lanier and stay there again !!
Our stay was mostly for my son to see his girlfriend. The location of the house was situated in the middle of her home and the airport. Having the house to ourselves was relaxing in itself. You didn’t have to walk on egg shells not to make noise. The convenience for shopping and eating was close. The lake not to far away was calming. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Fishing tournament
We came into town for a fishing tournament out of Laurel Park. House is nice and clean. VERY close to the ramp if you are launching from Laurel Park. Gas station just down the road to fuel up every day. Room to park one boat under the carport if you have a hydraulic jack plate and can lower your power poles. Can park another in front just off the road with plugins easily accessible. Will stay again!
We had a great time staying at this property. The owner did a great job of communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. Our goal was to spend as much time on Lake Lanier as possible and having the Laurel Park and their boat ramp a 1/4 mile away was ideal. We were able to park our 18' boat and keep it attached to the car, although it was a tight fit. Overall, the house interior was clean and well kept. The only negative was with the exterior of the house which needed some TLC - grass needed cutting, grill needed cleaning, and the house could do with a good power wash. I would stay there again if we decide to return to Lanier for another boating excursion.

Perfect cottage getway!
Forget the hotel, motel, or other lodging. "Get Hooked" was the perfect sized location and such a beautiful property. Historic (built in 1930), private, and the beds/linens were so laundered. When I say the television was not turned on at all, I am dead serious. Spent most of the time listening to music (nice touch with the remote speakers), or listening to nature's music outside. A short walk/ride to the lake, short drive to Road Atlanta, and Gainesville, GA has a ton to offer. The owner was extremely attentive...I'm running out of superlatives. Just stay here and see for yourself!
We enjoyed our stay at "Get Hooked". The property was exactly as described! Everything was clean and comfortable. The owner has thought of everything you might need or want, including a beautiful full-size Christmas tree which made the Christmas holiday that much more special. We were at the house during freezing temperatures and the heating worked like a charm keeping us very cozy. Due to the cold weather, we did not spend any time outdoors, but would have loved to spend time on the deck or around the fire ring. The lighting was a little dim for reading in the big room. Beds and sheets were comfortable, towels were soft, and we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much. We will return again.

We rented this wonderful little house for a weekend to visit our boys who at Riverside military academy. It was very convenient to the campus. We brought their girlfriends and had other friends stay with us. There was plenty of room for all. It was a cozy wonderful house and we especially liked the fire pit in the back. We had a wonderful time thank you so much. We will return again and again.
Clean, nice fire pit. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and linens. Nice towels. Lighting a little dim. Bring your own laundry detergent and shower essentials.
The house was exactly as described. Had great space super well decorated and well appointed. The host have thought of everything. Private back yard area and great proximity to a great lakeside park. Will be back!
Our house was under renovation and we needed a place to be able to stay with my mom for the holidays. It was such a cute place … old house but very nicely remodeled with lots of character.
Everything was just as described. Highly recommend.
