Unforgettable farm stay

We are a big family of 3 generations! The house was very beautiful and warm with the fireplace. The farm was huge and there were so many different farm animals whuch was a great experience for the younger one. We enjoyed our stay at the house. Thank you

Kicked off property 90 mins after check in by the rudest person I've ever met!

Our family did a self- check in per the instructions that were sent to me the day before our stay. We got comfortable and showered and were about to have a late lunch when the fire warden drops in to check on a small fire that had occurred on the property the previous day. There were no signs of fire other than the feint smell of wet old smoke. The fire warden cleared us for safety but then received a call from property owner who proceeded to yell at me for being on her property and kept interrogating me as to why I'm on her property. I tried to explain to her that I had paid and the money had come out of my account two weeks prior and that I had been in constant contact with the booking provider before check in - in fact they had provided me all entry codes etc the day before, so how did I not have a booking? She kept screaming at me to get off her property and mentioned insurance, and didn't give a damn about the fact that we had a family of 9 with us for a long weekend and it was already 4.30pm. We couldn't find anywhere else to go that could accommodate us for a public holiday long weekend at such short notice. I tried to tell her the fire warden had cleared for safety and he even tried to reason with her but she was just a rude, nasty person who abused me (and him!) on the phone. Some sensitivity and kindness would have helped instead of shouting at me. Also, the propert was dirty- dead insects on windowsills, spiders and dirty water in the bath. Will post photos.
