Only minutes from Newport and the stunning Rhode Island south coast beaches, this home will provide you with the perfect location to explore or just chill on the deck overlooking Narraganset Bay, the Plum Beach lighthouse, and Jamestown bridge. Jamestown offers a quiet rural atmosphere with an abundance of open spaces and lovely views providing an excellent location for walking or riding bicycles. The small village center offers many restaurants with al fresco dining, shopping, and water taxi to historic Newport.

This professionally landscaped home features open concept living with an updated fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, washer/dryer, large deck with retractable awning for eating or sunning, and parking for 2 vehicles. We loved our stay in Jamestown! This was a beautiful house with a great location!! Clean and well appointed with everything we needed! The deck outside was great for enjoying beautiful sunsets! Another quick mid-winter visit
We've left positive reviews of this property in the past and nothing has changed. While of course a mid-winter stay is likely to be cold with less daylight, you still get the coastal view and quick access to Newport to the east or Narragansett to the west.

Great Weekend Away
We had a wonderful time - it was our annual girls weekend away. The home had everything you needed , it was clean and well kept. The best part were late afternoon drinks and dinner on the deck waiting for the beautiful sunsets.

A getaway even in the middle of winter
We timed our visit when there wasn’t any rain or snow. As usual the house was in great shape and well stocked. Plenty of things to do between Newport to the east, Jamestown itself and Narragansett to the west.

A short but pleasant stay
A clean and well equipped house. A short walk to the waterfront. Ability to cross bridges into either Newport or towards Narragansett. All these made for a great stay.

Clean, fully equipped. Owner was responsive to a problem with the electronic lock, replacing it with a new one. Great location with partial bay views, wonderful long walks along Seaside drive and easy access to Newport to the East and Narragansett to the West.

Lovely property in quiet Jamestown
Lovely quaint house in the quiet island of Jamestown -- and a quick walk down the hill to the beach. Lauren & Casey are wonderful hosts: quick and easy communication, and they even personally prepped the house for our arrival! Made for a nice weekend retreat during the Labor Day holiday weekend, as we got to enjoy the hustle & bustle of Newport, while still having a nice quiet place to come back home to at the end of the day. Thank you to our lovely hosts!! Highly recommended :)

The location was in a safe neighborhood and perfect for our day trips to Newport and the southern coast. The house was well stocked and clean and provided comfortable rooms to sleep and hang out.

My husband, Casey, and I purchased this home in 2016. Casey grew up by the water in nearby North Kingstown, RI. He is an avid sailor and loves to spend his days on the water. Casey is a school teacher and an executive director of a sailing club in MA. I work in Human Resources and love to travel.

We are new to renting our summer home, but can not wait for you to experience all that our home and Jamestown has to offer!

Why they chose this property

We decided to purchase in Jamestown, RI due to the proximity to the ocean, it is close to where our sailboat is located, as well as to beautiful beaches throughout Rhode Island. We love to go to Newport for the day or down to Narragansett. The property is central to everything that we could possibly need, yet in a quiet neighborhood.
