Living Room: Relax in front of the wood-burning fireplace on the plush sofa after a fun day of outdoor activities.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. Don't forget to enjoy your meals on the private deck with peekaboo views of Whitefish Lake!

Loft: Perfect for movie nights or a peaceful retreat, the loft features a sofa bed, bean bag chair, and a flat-screen TV.

Bedrooms: Two spacious bedrooms on the lower level, each featuring cozy queen-sized beds, ensuring everyone gets a restful night’s sleep.

Main Floor: Full bathroom near the living area for your convenience.

Check in time is 4:00 pm / Check out time 10:00am  

If you should arrive after hours when the office is closed, no worries, there is a lock box outside of the office with a red phone next to it, please pick up the phone, which will auto-dial to our call center, give the call center your name and they will give you the lock box code and once you open it there will be an envelope inside with your name, the envelope will have a map of the village, amenities codes for the pool, hot tubs, and beach area (address to the beach will be on the code list) also a code or a key in which to enter your unit. Parking is free and available for a maximum of two vehicles; If you have any oversized vehicles such as Motorcycles, trailers and RV's or need additional parking options for extra vehicles the Village does have room in our oversized parking areas. Please speak to our reservationist if you need assistance with parking options. 



Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana.  This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America.  When the snow melts Whitefish Mountain becomes a summer playground home to zip lines, alpine slides, hiking, biking and so much more. The greater Whitefish area has some of the best golfing, water sports, fishing, whitewater rafting, festivals and is the gateway to Glacier National Park. 



Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays.  Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation.  Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.



Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!
