Very good apartment

The apartment is better than the pictures. Good location: Near Centre Pompidou; The Seine river and the.Notre Dame is only 5 minute's walk. The apartment has everything we needed (even including a power adapter converter). The owner Yaol is very nice and considerate. The street outside is a bit noisy but it didn't bother us much.

Wonderful place!

We rented the flat for our parents (we stayed in the second flat) and they were as satiesfied as we were with ours: everyting was clean, the equipment was fine - they would stay there for a second time! Renate

Very nice apartment in great area of Paris.

The property was very nice and ideal for a short stay in Paris. The noise from the street could be a little noisy at times, but just adds to the atmosphere. The building is very secure. The flat was very clean and comfortable. The location in the Marais was ideal. Very near to the Pompidou and very handy for shops, restaurants and public transport. Yael was very welcoming and the booking transaction was handled very professionally. Many thanks. Mike and Judy

Fabulous!

Not only is the apartment in a great, central location but, it also had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable. We travelled as a couple with our baby and we were met with the necessities- baby bed, high hair, towel, bedding, and even some baby toys! You don't get these special touches just anywhere! As others have written, the traffic does get a little noisy but.. Hello! It's paris!! We just closed our windows at night and slept with the fan on. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very large. It was a little difficult to bathe the baby due to a unloveable, glass partition but was not a big deal. The main area is very airy. Kitchen was very equipped and although there is no oven, we made our own dinner several times. As I mentioned before, the location is excellent- we walked everywhere and saw all the sights and only took metro and train a couple of times. One street over has tons of stores where you can buy fresh bread, cheese and meat. Also close to many chain grocery stores. The finishing touch- the cherry on top, to all of this is the manger, Yaël. She is a very kind and thoughtful woman. When I needed something, she responded immediately and went well beyond her duty. I would recommend this apartment, or any others that Yaël has to offer. She is very honest to deal with. If anyone needs any extra reassurance, ask Yaël for my email and I would be happy to tell you more about this great place!!

A Truly Wonderful Experience - A Perfect Location !

The listing is accurate and represents the property accurately. The apartment is even better - very spacious, very clean, and very comfortable and practical. The bed is very comfortable and the linens and blankets very fresh and delightful. Plenty of closet space, with an unusually large bathroom too. Tall ceilings and tall french windows in the bedroom and living room make it feel very open. Kitchen has everything you need for simple cooking (no oven, but was not a problem at all). No clothes washer or dryer, but a nice laundromat a few blocks away if you don't want to hand wash and dry your clothes. The location was ideal - easy to walk EVERYWHERE - half a block to the Rambuteau metro stop, around the corner from excellent markets, bakeries, and restaurants. Ten minute walk to the Seine, and from there, the most marvelous view of an extraordinary city, where you will want to walk everywhere, so you miss nothing. Fantastic hospitality and support from Yael, who works several days in the office at the apartment. She is thoughtful and reliable, gracious and responsive to questions, and requests, in person and via email (ie refreshed linens and towels, arrange for taxi to airport, etc). I originally planned to stay for 4 weeks and extended my stay twice. It was that good! There is some noise in the streets at various points throughout the night, because Parisians are social and stay up late, and the noise from those walking and talking in the street can be heard. I felt 100% safe at all times - great neighborhood. I would return to these apartments without a doubt, and would absolutely highly recommend this property.

Nice apartment in a great location

Pros: Great location - very close to metro and walkable to attractions. Looked exactly like the pictures. Very clean and modern. Nice large bathroom. Minimal kitchen so don't expect to cook large meals but all the essentials were there. Safe beautiful neighborhood. Loved all the shops and wandering the streets. We received our security deposit back. Cons: WiFi was unreliable but the owner gave me some money back for this problem. Very noisy because the apt is right on a fairly busy street. I can't imagine sleeping with the windows open in the summer with no air conditioning. Bring ear plugs. Key pad to get into building was very tempermental. We sometimes had to press the keys several times to get the lock to open - which isn't a good feeling when you are tired or late at night. Our arrival felt could have been coordinated better. We had to email the owner a few times for directions and then without any notification from the owner one of their friends emailed to say that she would meet us at the apartment to let us in. She was very nice and helpful but it would have been nice for the owner to have coordinated our arrival better so that we didn't have to keep pestering them for directions.

Perfect Paris Pad

This apartment is the perfect location for a couple, or a couple with a small child who wants an authentic Parisian experience. First, the building and apartment are very secure, and on a relatively quiet side street--the fact that the bedroom window faces the street is not a noise problem. The apartment itself is very clean, well kept and pretty new, with a very comfortable bed and large bath (that is partially glass enclosed for showering). The furniture and kitchen amenities are just enough, and the dishwasher is a great--esp. as we ate in for breakfast and dinner most nights. The bolangerie and fruit sellers are around the block, and there are two nice grocery stores within two blocks (one in either direction). Yael provided a very comfortable portable crib (like a Pack n' Play) and high chair, and our 1 y/o daughter could not have been happier. (We were also able to store her stroller inside at the first level, so we didn't have to lug it up the stairs.) This location in the Marais is a great launching pad if you want to walk around this adorable area, or even wander further to the Seine and beyond. And with many lovely restraunts, the metro and a bike rental station just a few blocks away, there is no need for a cab. Most importantly, Yael was a wonderful landlord/host. She was quickly available when we had a problem with the shower. She was kind enough to print out a map for us to local bike shops, and answered our questions for area recommendations. And her office is downstairs so she was available during business hours if we had a quick question. She made sure the internet was always working, kept us supplied with trash bags and diswasher pellets, and could not have been nicer. We spent 8 days in Paris to celebrate our daughter's first birthday, and this apartment made it easy and fun. Highly recommended!

Great location, excellent customer service!

This apartment is situated in a great location, walking distance to many sites (2 min. to Centre Pompidou; walk to Le Louvre; we even walked with our kids to Musee d'Orsay; walk to Notre Dame Cathedral; Musee de Carnavalet, etc.). Very close to many metro lines and to RER train at Chatelet les Halles. Monop grocery store down the street, several others within short walking distance (Monoprix, Franprix). The only thing stopping me from giving the apartment five stars is that the street can be noisy late at night on weekends, but it didn't disturb our kids at all, they were already asleep. The flipside is that the street is very safe, since there are always people walking. One of the best parts of this rental was dealing with the owners directly. Before we booked, we had many questions, and either David or Yael either emailed or called us with replies each time. They met us when we arrived and helped with our luggage and showed us around. During our stay, we found a coupon for Disney and we asked Yael if she would print it for us and she did not hesitate to help. Similarly, she ordered a taxi for us to the airport. In general, she was at our disposal and was very kind, generous and warm. We could not ask for better hosts, it was obvious they truly cared and wanted us to have a nice vacation. The apartment is very clean and well equipped to make meals (pasta, omelets, sandwiches) with pots, pans, utensils and dishes. There is a stove, fridge, microwave. The owners supplied all linens, towels, dishsoap, handsoap, toilet paper, paper towels; it was above and beyond what many other apartment rentals provide. We stayed for 16 nights and they gave us a change of linens and towels and extra supplies halfway through. While there is no washing machine in the apartment, there is a laundromat around the corner that my husband used twice and it was fine. They supplied a crib (playpen) with linens and a highchair. The apt. is very spacious. Lots of space in closet, both hangers and shelves. Bathroom is very generous size. The apt. is on the 1st floor (one flight of stairs), and Yael invited us to leave our stroller on the main level behind two locked doors which worked very nicely. As a result, the apt. is great for a family. In general, we found the apt. very reasonably priced for the area & size, the location was great, the apt. is spacious, well-equipped and the owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We wish them every success!!

Great apartment in a great location

After my stay for two weeks, I didn’t want to leave Paris! This apartment is in a great location and is much more spacious and well laid out than it seemed in the photos, which was a shock, but a good one. Decor is simple but smart. The reception welcoming and very helpful!!! Close to great food and wine, which was high on the priority list for me. And only a 15-20minute walk to the breathtaking Notre Dame and 10-15min walk to Hotel De Ville, where you can catch the Batobus (hop on & off ferry... the slowest and my personal favourite transportation in Paris) to pretty much all of your major tourism attractions along the canals of Paris. The only negatives was that it can be quite noisy from party goers coming and going across the road, between 2-4am... but not every night. Another is that there were no cleaning products supplied... as a clean freak I had to buy the basics, but only because I was there for a whole two weeks and the last and really quite trivial, is that the featured image of the courtyard, was actually behind a gate that I did not have access to... but really like I said, very trivial, but I had planned to paint down there, so only important if you have similar plans. The positives though, far outweigh the negatives! I will definitely consider staying here again.
