Cozy space in Ganges

The Wildwood Cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay on Salt Spring Island. Very comfortable bed with black out curtains for a good sleep. Personal parking spot with EV charger. Kitchen equipped to cook with heated kitchen floor and breakfast goods provided. There is a full heated shared in ground pool from June-September. Private front patio with couch, swing and fire pit. Our area is close to town but far enough away to be relaxing even in the busy summer months. Walking distance to the fabulous Salt Spring Wild Cider, grocery's, cold beer and wine and the Legion. 2 min walk to the main road and bus line. Only friendly pets on and off leash are welcome. We have a cat and dog that free room on the property.

Very convenient spot, close to Ganges but nice and quiet. Clean and cozy, Billie is an attentive host. Bonus of a Tesla charge port. Perfect for a quiet escape.

This is a lovely place to stay. It is the perfect size for a couple with a wonderful outdoor area as well. The hosts were quick and helpful and the whole experience was calming and convenient. The ciderhouse restaurant down the road is amazing and it’s a 5 minute walk.

Great place for a couple’s getaway
Billie’s guest house was very cute and in a perfect location for us, quite close to Ganges but outside the bustle. Lovely little kitchen—I always care about the kitchen—with nice contemporary appliances. I appreciated the high quality unscented soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Billie truly went out of her way to be accommodating during our stay. We recommend!

This place is very cozy and beautiful. I felt relaxed and comfortable right away. The host was great, such a genuine human being. This will be the first place I'll look for when I'm back with friends and family.

I grew up on this beautiful Island, and love to call it my home. However, I love to travel and learn about different people. I stay very busy in the summer months as a wedding photographer and musician. I play in a local rock band and my own music at local restaurants in town. Id love to share with you my favorite hikes and places to visit. I am an open book if you want to come chat.

Why they chose this property

I have lived in this home for 10 years and my parents chose the area as they lived around the corner :) Its a fabulous cul-de-sac with wonderful neighbors. My little girl has the freedom to explore as its safe and off the busy roads. Its close to all needed resources as well as beaches and lake fronts. We have a wonderful garden with over flowing berries and herb bounty when in season.

What makes this property unique

Our property is one of the only places with an in ground pool which we upgraded with heat last year. Our property is shared so there are people living next door but we have made it so everyone has their own privacy. Our place is close to town but not close to the hustle and is very peaceful in the evenings. The sound of birds can be overwhelming in the morning as our property backs on acres of raw forest. We are huge animal lovers so you can bring your pet with you.
