Potential to be 5 stars

This is a beautiful house on a lovely waterfront property in a quiet neighbourhood. The beds are comfortable. With some improvements, it could be a five-star rating. However, on our visit there were discrepancies in the amenities listed from what was actually at the house, and the photos should be updated to depict the home as it actually is presently. The amenities incorrectly listed: no high chair; no outdoor playground; no workspace/desk; bunk bed room does not have three double beds, there are two double beds. The ice dispenser was broken and there were no ice cube trays as an alternative. The indoor fireplace is fueled by propane but the tank was empty. We could not get the master bedroom TV to work. After contacting the hosts, they offered a small refund to compensate for the empty propane tank and also suggested I buy ice cube trays for which I would be reimbursed. An offer was made to over-the-phone trouble shoot together the non-working TV but I declined. There was no access to cushions for any of the outdoor furniture. No face towels provided.Except for one small section, the pier and deck are in very poor condition. The indoor lounge chairs with ottomans have peeled and are very tired looking. Large carpet in front of fireplace needs cleaningThe bedding provided is adequate but not as depicted in the photos. There is a door camera at the front entrance to the home. The fact that it is there is not disclosed on the property description.
