Comfy detached house in central Moncton on Humphrey Street, close to both hospitals and walking distance (1.3 km) to Harrison Trimble High School. Two-minute walk from Mountain Road and a major bus route (51 Green Line www.codiactranspo.ca). We have a very large bedroom with a king-sized bed on the top floor; a second bedroom on the main floor (currently my son’s room, with a loft bed); and a study in the finished basement (queen-sized bed available). Living room with large picture window for relaxing and watching television, as well as a den with electric fireplace in the finished basement.
We also have two bathrooms: one has a shower; the other has a shower and a whirlpool bathtub. The back yard is fenced in, with a deck, and there is a driveway for parking cars. The driveway is plowed by an external company. There is a park with play structures, tennis court, and basketball court on our street (one minute’s walk).
The house comes fully furnished e.g. beds, couches, television, table, chairs, fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, clothes washer, heated towel rail. Rent includes all utilities (water, sewer, electricity, heat, air conditioning, internet). We are close to the motorway, downtown, and all amenities. There are also several childcare facilities within walking distance. We ask that you keep our house smoke-free and pet-free (though smoking outside is permitted).
