A corner of paradise in full maquis

The rental of Capuscio is a 70 m² house on two levels with a large summer kitchen with water point, barbecue and pizza oven.
Located in the middle of the maquis two kilometers from the village of Venaco, this is a haven of peace awaiting you.
Ideally located in the center of Corsica near the Vecchio, you will then take advantage of the prettiest hiking trails and natural pools of the river passing a few hundred meters from the rental.
Access to your paradise is along the national 193 by a very passable end of about 500 m.
Beautiful little house that can accommodate up to 6 people (3 adults, 2 children or 2 adults and 4 children).

Great place to explore the mountains and to relax
Jean is a very kind and helpful host and his house ist just wonderful. Its a fantastic base to explore this part of the island and for day hikes in the mountains. Every day after our trips we were looking forward to relax in the garden and to go down to the river for a swim. Really a great place, it was hard to leave...

Wonderful place in nature
Wonderful, cosy house in a valley south of Venaco. Very spacious terrace, large garden and 10-15 minutes walk to a great swimming spot in the river. We were there with our 3 kids age 9-13. Difficult road down to the house (offroad track), but Jean is a wonderful host - he drove our luggage down.

Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht ist hier genau richtig. Traumhafter Fluss mit wunderschönen Badegumpen ganz für sich allein. Haus perfekt für bis zu 6 Personen. Der Gastgeber Jean ist supernett und zuvorkommend Es ist alles da was man braucht

Wunderschön, aber etwas abgelegen
das stilvolle Häuschen ist wirklich ein Kleinod mitten in der Natur. Außenküche ist grandios. Der Flußabschnitt zum Baden ist traumhaft und nach etwa 15 min etwas bergigem Fußweg zu erreichen. Ungünstig ist das ein normaler PKW ca. 300m entfernt vom Haus geparkt werden muss, was bei Einkäufen etwas nervt und auch ein An- und Abfahren bei Dunkelheit fast unmöglich macht. Der nette Gastgeber bringt aber zur An- und Abreise das Gepäck ans Auto. Zu unserer Zeit etwas nervig war auch das stundenlange Hundegebell, auch nachts. Das Dorf Venaco selber, ist ein sehr schnuckeliges Örtchen mit sehr guter Gastronomie, die nächsten Küsten oder Städte sind ca. 60-90 Autominuten entfernt. Korte, als nächstgrößere Stadt (15 Min.) ist ebenfalls sehr schön und hat einen tollen Supermarkt. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Heerlijk verblijf!
Het huis heeft veel karakter, een heerlijke ruime leef/buitenkeuken en een prachtige grote tuin. Omdat het huis 500m van de doorgaande weg afligt, volledig omringd door groen, geeft het heel veel privacy en rust. Het enige geluid dat je af en toe hoort is afkomstig van een hondenopvang wat verderop de berg. Zwemmen kan in een prachtig riviertje op 15 min wandelen van het huis. Jean, de vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaar, verzorgt het vervoer van bagage van en naar het huis op de dag van aankomst en vertrek. De eigen auto blijft aan de kant van de doorgaande weg achter vanwege de onverharde weg naar het huis. We hebben een hele fijne week gehad!

Une maison en pleine nature pour ceux qui aiment les randonnées
La présentation sur le site est parfaitement fidèle. La maison est agréable et très bien équipée. Très isolée.Le chemin pour y accéder est difficile. Même si Jean, notre hôte facilite l’accès en véhiculant les bagages à l’arrivée et au départ. A moins d’avoir un véhicule tout terrain. Jean est un hôte sympathique et chaleureux

Une parenthèse enchanteresse
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette petite maison pittoresque et pleine de charme! L’accès se fait par un chemin caillouteux certes mais le propriétaire est là pour assurer la logistique permettant le transfert des bagages, très pratique! La maison est ensuite située au milieu d’un beau jardin où se trouve une très belle terrasse équipée de barbecue, cuisine d’été et four à pizza. Le tout à quelques minutes à pied d’une rivière où l’on peut se baigner en toute tranquillité ! Bref, nous remercions jean pour son accueil et ses bons conseils qui nous ont permis de passer un très bon séjour! Nous recommandons vivement

Reizvolle Gegend am Le Vecchio
Das Badefeeling am Le Vecchio ist grandios. 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Haus entfernt. Mit einem "normalen" Fahrzeug kann man nicht direkt ans Haus fahren. Die Zufahrt zum Stellplatz ist an manchen Stellen grenzwertig. Der Vermieter transportiert das Gepäck vom Stellplatz zum Haus. Das Haus ist für eine Familie ok, für 2 Ehepaare ungeeignet.

Sehr netter, hilfreicher Gastgeber, schönes Häuschen mit gemütlicher Einrichtung und toller Outdoorküche. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen in der Natur, wer die Ruhe sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

Alles super, Haus in toller Lage, freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Zufahrt und parken leider nur für SUV möglich. Dafür 1 Stern Abzug. Wir kommen trotzdem gerne mal wieder.

Bon séjour dans la maison isolée avec accueil agréable du propriétaire.
Maison bien agencée, spacieuse avec de beaux espaces extérieurs. Accès impossible avec une voiture normale par la piste, il faut impérativement descendre et remonter à pieds (accès relativement pentu), mais une fois à la maison, on y est bien. Malgré l’isolement de la maison, bruits importants de la route et des chiens aux alentours. Maison très bien équipée.

Dépaysant !
Superbe petite maison décorée avec goût au milieu des montagnes de Venaco. Idéalement située à mi chemin entre Corte et Vizzavona. Rivière et piscines naturelles accessibles en 15 minutes à pied, tranquillité assurée. Chemin pour arriver à la maison non carrossable avec une voiture basse mais prix à payer pour la tranquillité. Grand jardin bien arboré, super équipé pour vivre dehors (bains de soleil, grande table, solarium, cuisine d’été, barbecue etc...). L’intérieur est aussi parfaitement équipé en terme d’électroménager et de vaisselles. Bref à recommander ++++++ pour des vacances familiales ou entre amis.

Wonderful Holiday in the wilds
This was one of the best places we've stayed, and I can't say anything bad about it. Completely hidden, and surrounded by nothing but amazing mountain views and beautiful wilderness, The house is very clean and well equipped, and the natural bbq and real fire were a plus. Not a sound a night, and completely dark except for the moon. Jean was very amenable and welcoming and has good knowledge of many things, including the mountain hiking trails which was good for us. Close to the local village where we had a few stunted chats (due to our bad french) with the locals who are friendly and interested. A couple of local restaurants and bars, and the train station is there too, so we were easily able to take the local mountain trains on our treks. The local wines and cheeses are a must, Cap Corse produce is renowned and for good reason.

Jolie Maison en pleine nature, mais cependant très moderne! Idéalement située pour découvrir la corse de l’intérieur! Propriétaire très charmant! Je conseille au plu grand nombre!
