Great Location
My dad and I stayed here late September/early October. It's in a super good spot to access both the east and west sides of Glacier, which would definitely be handy if they close Going to the Sun Road. The cabin is great! Large porch, full kitchen, comfy living room. Bedroom/bunkroom are downstairs. We really enjoyed the stay.

Great find
Quiet and well centered for our plans. Property is beautiful. Cabin was comfortable. Flies were a little bad but it is a horse ranch in a remote area so thats to be expected. Everything else was amazing. Will try to go back next time I visit the area.

Loved the location for visiting Glacier Park. It was beautiful and fun with the horses all around and our youngest cried when she had to say goodbye to Rosie. Such a unique stay and we couldn’t be happier.

Cozy and Quiet
My husband and I loved staying in the cabin. It was cozy with tons of beds if you planned on bringing the family or friends. During our stay we booked a half day horseback ride with the outfitter on the property. This was a lovely touch, especially since we booked this cabin for our wedding trip/honeymoon. Everyone on the property was very helpful and welcoming! They also made sure you had your privacy. I loved meeting everyone including the horses and dogs that reside on the property. If we decide to make this an annual trip, we will for sure book again with Capri and Shawn!!

Beautiful location, perfect stay for families or friends, GREAT hosts!
We absolutely loved staying on the east side of Glacier National Park at Capri and Shawns house at Snowy Mountain Outfitters. They were WONDERFUL hosts. Absolutely breathtaking property and the cabin had essentials plus some! We had everything we needed and loved being so close to East Glacier Lodge, East entrance to Going to the Sun Road, and our favorite, Many Glacier wasnt a bad drive from the cabin! We rode horses while at the cabin and loved the ride and views close to sundown! Loved Hoss and Rosie on property visiting and greeting us daily! We had zero issues finding this cabin and loved that there were restaurants not far away on the reservation or other town areas that was good if we wanted to eat out for dinner one night after hiking or cooking at the cabin! Highly recommend this location and hosts and would love to come back one day!! Perfect for our family of 5!!

July Stay
We got married in Glacier in July and we used this cabin as our home base. We had a group of 8 adults and with the extra bunk room there was plenty of space for all of us. The property is peaceful and we loved all the dogs running around, especially Hoss :) The best grocery store was in Columbia Falls on our way in and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals there. Thanks Capri for checking on us throughout our stay and making sure we had everything we needed!!! You really can’t get a better location if your plan is to explore Glacier National Park. It’s pretty much equal distance between both West and East entrances.

The property was phenomenal and everyone was outstanding. We had more than enough room for our large family and the proximity to the park was perfect as we were able to get away and enjoy the quiet. The stars were great at night. We'll be back again.

Wonderful stay at a family friendly horse ranch.
We chose this location to have equal access to West and East Glacier NP, and it was the perfect choice. The cabin we stayed in was plenty big for 7 of us, the 100 acre ranch surrounded by mountains and a fishable creek was a great home base while we enjoyed the national park. Campfires at night, starry skies and the enjoyment of the horse activities created a fabulous environment to relax and enjoy nature. Thanks Shawn, Capri and crew!

Felt like our cabin which was just what we wanted!
We had a wonderful stay at Snowy Mountain. They were so accommodating. Our granddaughter was thrilled to see the kittens and to ride a horse. It is a beautiful and relaxing spot. My father wasn't up for the stairs down to the sleeping area. We brought a twin mattress upstairs and that worked great. The stream that is close by was fun to walk to. We all would go back again!

great stay/off the grid
cabin is as advertised, beautiful location, kitchen well stocked, plenty of beds, beds downstairs, bathroom upstairs, but didn't seem to be a problem for the younger ones; we did pull a mattress upstairs for the oldest. loved sitting on the porch and watching for wildlife ; we had a bonfire every night. no cell service so was great to reconnect with family to actually talk with one another. there were 6 of us and we loved the location. thank you for setting up last minute trail ride for the family. we hated leaving. I'm sure you will hear from us again.

Perfect Family Property
Oh my goodness what a fun place!! If you like horses and dogs, this is the place for you. Our little ones had a blast with the very friendly dogs on the property. The owner, Capri is very friendly and accommodating. She's willing to strike up a conversation any time. I really enjoyed watching some of the ranch hands practicing their calf roping each morning. We even had deer go through the property. My husband managed to get a gorgeous photo of the campfire with the moon just over the mountains!! Absolutely stunning.

Great halfway point between west and east side of park
Capris cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Upstairs is a full kitchen, shower only bathroom, living room with satellite tv and DVD player. Downstairs had two twin beds and a bunk bed in one big room and a queen bed in a private room which was extremely comfortable. Capri met us on arrival and provided lots of helpful information about the property. There is no phone service and limited WiFi but that seems to be the norm around that area. We loved the central location between the east and west sides of the park since the going to the sun road was not fully open yet. The property is gorgeous and my son absolutely loved the horses and trains

Glacier National Park Home Base
We stayed at Shawn and Capri's property for our visit to Glacier National Park. This is a great location if you want to bounce between east and west entrances. We visited the east side only and the drives were reasonable. The property is great, stunning views all around and being an active horse ranch/outfitter added to the authenticity. They had everything we needed in the house for cooking our own meals. Beds were comfy and clean. Bathroom was fine. This was a perfect size for our family of four. The pups on the property are great. They like to come and visit and see what's going on. We loved it. If you're looking for something a little off the beaten path with a great setting, this is the place. We'd stay with them again no questions asked. Thanks!

Wonderful stay away in the woods
We spent three nights at the cabin in June during our trip to Glacier. The cabin sits on the family’s ranch just off Route 2 about 20 miles west of east entrance and 35 miles east of the west gate. The cabin is modest but very comfortable and was everything we needed with a kitchen, clean bathroom and cozy beds downstairs. There was satellite tv too but we didn’t spend any time watching it. The wonderful family lives on the ranch and actually competes in rodeos so our little girls (3 & 6) were absolutely amazed by watching everyone practice for their competition and their daughter even took the girls for a brief horseback ride. The cabin has a campfire ring with firewood, so it was really nice to wind down in the evening and look at the stars with the family. Overall, it was a great, comfortable base camp for our adventures in the park and we really appreciated the hospitality.

Great getaway
The cabin worked great for our large family. It's nicely located to give the option to go to either the West or East entrances of Glacier. I was looking forward to visiting both sides of Glacier but my kids had the most fun playing in the creek on the property and exploring the tunnel. The dogs were very friendly and our kids had fun exploring with them and playing catch with them. There was room at the table for everyone and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals there. The covered deck was a great place to relax at any time of the day because it always provided shade. All the beds were in the basement with a queen size bed in a separate room. It was cool and dark down there and the beds were very comfortable so we all slept well. The cabin is on a working ranch and the owners live on the property as well. They go about their business but are more than willing to talk and we enjoyed our talks with Capri. We enjoyed our time there and our kids asked if we could buy the cabin or at least come back and let them play in the creek soon.

Glacier Get Away!
Montana at its best! Anything you want to experience is available at this property from hiking on a plethora of trails to quiet time by the creek throwing rocks and wading in the water. Our three families came together for a fantastic week. We did a family hike to Stanton Lake starting on a nearby trailhead off of highway 2. Even the 3 year olds did the hike on the way up but preferred the backpacks on the way back. The trail is quite steep. Had the breathtaking lake to ourselves once we arrived. Saw river rafting excursions along the highway on the Flathead River but decided to save that for another trip. Made use of both entrances to Glacier Park from this convenient location. The cabin worked well for the 10 of us plus baby. Capri had extra leaves in the table for us that we could all fit around. Even the one bathroom situation was pleasantly workable. The bunkhouse provided sleeping quarters for 3 of the guys and the beds on the lower level were cool and comfy. We made good use of the large railed porch and enjoyed the beautiful views, breezes and humming bird visitors throughout the day. Our little boys LOVED the trains that travelled in the distance along the ridge and provided entertainment. A special highlight for the girls was the beautiful trail ride led by Shawn. All in all we couldn’t have asked for more and have memories saved in amazing photos including those of mountain sheep and goats, deer and even a bear! Thanks Capri and Shawn for everything!
