Great hosts, below average for price.
Our host, Katja was awesome in every way. Great communication, very clean & tidy property. Shower is old but good pressure. Good bed with quality sheets (not duvet). Very quiet with lovely birdsong in mornings. This tiny studio is only partially renovated & is not "styley" as per listing description. Gardens & lawns need attention.Very little privacy outside, with a tiny strip opening to the other beachfront property & other side open to road and no comfy outdoor furniture. We paid over 1k for 3 nights over Waitangi weekend & feel completely ripped off after hearing of other local rates. In saying that, it's next to the walkway to the beach & the beach is spectacular. It would have been good to have more than 1 towel each. A beach towel would be good & some kind of chair to take to the beach, as you are not beachfront at all. Off season price may be acceptable, but to charge what we paid, compared to what we got was the most expensive, in relative terms, in NZ.

Good
Nice break away. Could do with an upgrade on the shower head and hotplate. Tv remote did not work for the kids entertainment. Still worth it
