What makes this property unique

The view at Buena Vista is beautiful at every level of the cottage. We designed Buena Vista for our family with 2,300 sq ft (3 levels) of interior living space that is suitable for a maximum of 10 guests (ideal for one large multi generation family or 2 families). We look forward to sharing our family cottage with other families interested in exploring the Algonquin Highlands.

We will do our best to make your stay comfortable. Please reference the detailed summary below that outlines all amenities and those that are seasonal:

- U drive way fits 3 to 4 cars
- 4 bedrooms including 1 queen, 1 double, 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds (sleeps 10, bed linens included)
- 3 full bathrooms with rain shower head in each (max. 10 bath towels and 3 hand towels provided)
- Fully equipped open concept kitchen (with dishwasher & microwave)
- Dining table seats 8 plus 4 additional stools at kitchen island
- Walk-out basement with 9 foot ceilings includes 50 inch Smart TV (access streaming services like Netflix and Disney+ using your own personal login details)
- We provide a Blu-ray DVD player with a range of family friendly movies and a ping pong table with two paddles
- Cottage has air conditioning, central heating, main floor wood stove and walkout basement has an electric fireplace for extra heating

Exterior amenities available:
- Non slip PVC dock (available 1st week of May to 1st week of Oct.).
- Access to our family peddle boat, kayak and canoe (it’s your responsibility to know how to swim, use the canoes safely and to check them before use). We provide 3 adult life jackets, you need to bring children life jackets.
- Exterior deck seating overlooking the lake (available 1st week of May to mid Nov.).
- Propane BBQ (available 1st week of May to mid Nov.).
- Outdoor picnic area (available 1st week of May to mid Nov.).
- Fire pit with Muskoka chairs (available 1st week of May to mid Nov.).
- Lakeside lounge area to enjoy the sunsets (available 1st week of May to mid November)
