The cottage was very cute. The views outstanding! The beach unbelievable.
The cottage was cute. Older appliances in the kitchen and older fixtures in the bathroom but all worked well.
Host friendly and easy to communicate with.
We would come back.
Andrew and Rhonda's cottage was the perfect place to shut off and relax by the beach. It was very cozy, felt like home and had everything we needed. The property, view, and beach were stunning and quiet. Would recommend to anyone looking for a PEI beach holiday.
A beautiful cottage with an amazing view. Lovely walk to a superb beach where most days had the beach to ourselves. The cottage is so pretty and well-appointed. Ocean breeze and birdsong added to our relaxing vacation.
Quaint cottage in an ideal beachfront location! Truly felt like a home away from home, where we were able to create memories to last a lifetime. The host is very responsive. Will definitely be returning!
The cottage is at the end of a private access road. There is a wrap-around deck overlooking the water. It has a fire pit for making smores, with adirondack chairs.
The private beach access is a set of metal stairs down to the water level and a couple of boardwalks that end at the private beach. At the base of the stairs are personal watercrafts for venturing out to the water. Once at the beach, there are a couple of adirondack chairs, a makeshift table with an umbrella to enjoy the scenery.
The beach is beautiful, with cliffs at either end. A walk along the beach is typical, with the sounds of the waves coming and going, along with the fauna that’s present.
The cottage is in between the Red Point provincial park and Basin Head provincial park.
We enjoyed the ocean view from the deck as well as walks along the beach, during our stay.
Lots to do in the area and all within an hour's drive or less including beautiful beaches, lighthouses, restaurants, shopping, local artisans and great people to meet.
The property was as expected from the listing- well located, equipped and comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and no issues were encountered during our stay. The beach was uncrowded, the water was good for swimming and views from the deck were great. It all made for a very relaxing week.
Amazing view from this well equipped, well maintained house with excellent hosts. The private beach is everything you hoped for.
Location is convenient to Souris, and to the Confederation Trail. It has the services you need without being in the center of the tourist bustle. The hosts provide the information you need to properly enjoy your visit. The interior is lovely, with all appliances in good working condition. Hurricane Fiona threatened during our visit. The hosts were very understanding of our wish to vacate the property early.
We highly recommend this rental.
This was a perfect little spot! The private beach was a highlight for us. The hosts were so helpful and even provided fresh scones and homemade jam for us upon arrival! This place has everything you could want for a beach get-away!
Perfect for us! Similar experience to the other reviews!
Our family was looking for the best location, to enjoy the views, and wanted to be able to both hear and see and access the ocean. We were pleasantly surprised by the wall-to-wall windows, and being able to hear the ocean from the home. It’s just what we were looking for.
The owners were very accessible, and answered all of our questions. Just a 10 minute drive from Souris where we did our groceries. Also did excursions to Eastpoint, Brudenell stables, East Coast adventures kayaking, nice drive to Anne of Green Gables and a surprise few visits to Cherry on Top Creamery – easily, the best ice cream we’ve ever had.
The home is simple, and clean, and the kitchen was very well appointed. So it gave us everything we needed. It is a beautiful walk to the beach which only takes about five minutes. There are a number of stairs, and a beautiful walk along the bridge, across the marsh.
The beach is spectacular. And fairly private. We travelled in June before the summer season so I think that’s why it was especially quiet. The beach is ideal for kids, as it is not too rough, and there is so much good sand.
If we ever return to PEI, we are going to try and stay at this home again. It was perfect for us.
We so much enjoyed everything about this cottage on the bluff, overlooking the sea. The cottage is very clean with everything thoughtfully provided you could possibly need. The beach is beautiful; we spent hours in the water, even in October, and the walk through the scrub forest enchanted. Our family was sad to have to leave.
We loved our stay! We knew the area well and the location was perfect for us. The owners were excellent to deal with. The beach House had everything we needed to have a wonderful week. Thank you for sharing your place. We would come back!

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to be able to rest and relax for our honeymoon!
A beautiful little cabin right along the coast of PEI with a lovely little white sand beach and a gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean. So close to town (Souris) and to lots of different attractions, provincial parks (Greenwich was fantastic - especially with all the hiking trails and the beautiful boardwalk), restaurants, and shops. It was the perfect place for my husband and I go to for our honeymoon last summer! Long walks on the beach, breakfast on the deck, s’mores by the campfire, falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. The owners were so sweet too; they left a bottle of champagne for us and a packet of lupines for us to plant to remember our honeymoon by! I had been to PEI almost every summer since I was born, but my husband had never been before, and I was able to show him all my favorite places on the island. This cabin was a cozy, welcoming, and wonderful place to create lots of memories together! We will certainly be going back again!

Absolutely perfect for a small family
My husband, our daughters(ages 10&16) and I rented this lovely cottage for a week, and loved every minute of our stay! The cottage was spotless when we arrived, and very cosy! We loved having our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean. What an incredible view! There we two small bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen, laundry, a lovely dining area with windows looking out to the sea. The beach was incredible! Soft singing sand, great swimming and very private. We will definitely be back!

Great access to beaches and beauty!
This was a great little place in the eastern part of PEI. We not only had unobstructed views of the ocean (saw seals, and diving seagulls from the porch), but we could also walk to the beautiful beach. The description of only needing to bring your swimsuit is absolutely accurate. The house had everything we needed from towels to bugspray. The house is also within a 2-3 minute drive of three other great beaches, and about 10-15 minutes from the town of Souris (a few good restaurants and a large grocery store and "Walgreens" type of pharmacy).
We had a wonderful time and was also a great place for kids!

Why they chose this property
This area and beach has been a favorite vacation spot for us for over 17 years and is minutes from my hometown of Souris. We are living off Island now and it really is a dream come true to have our very own little piece of PEI, so we are happy to share our dream with you. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
