If you're looking for a condo on Maui, look no further. Quiet 5th floor unit in the C Building with views of the ocean, Mt. Haleakala, and the garden from the lanai. Walk across the street to Kamaole Beach Park II for excellent swimming, snorkeling with occasional sea turtles, or strolling the beach. There are two on-site swimming pools, two BBQ areas, a tennis court (rackets & balls available to borrow at office), and the grounds are a botanical garden with abundant flowers and fruit trees.

This one bedroom/one bathroom condo can sleep up to four guests with a king bed in the recently refurnished master bedroom and a NEW sofa bed Dec /2020 with memory foam topper, air conditioned living room. The living room opens up to a lanai with gorgeous ocean and mountain views. From the 5th floor enjoy views of Mt. Haleakala to the east and the crystal blue ocean to the west. In winter months keep an eye out for humpback whales breaching and spouting as they pass by.

The kitchen and bathroom were remodeled in 2008. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all the cooking utensils you will need. The in-unit washer/dryer is convenient for washing beach towels or clothes. The unit is also stocked with beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, towels, boogie board, cooler, sand toys, etc.), guide books, novels, games, and more. There is free private WiFi in the condo as well as a TV with Netflix included and DVD player for in-unit entertainment.

During these covid 19 times we are keeping the unit empty for 1 day in between check-ins and we have added extra cleaning time.

Great location

The location was great. The place is a tight if you have a big family. Was clean. Loved having coffee on the balcony and the washer/dryer for those beach days. Only negative was the unwanted 4-legged visitors, so don’t keep your luggage on the ground. Besides that, it was not a bad stay.

Perfect place

Great location with 3 great beaches within 5 minutes. Also plenty of shops and restaurants within walking. Great property Very quiet and well done Unit is done nice and Great views from the lanai. So nice that there is beach chairs coolers an snorkels. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay! We always enjoy staying at the Kihei Akahi !

The had a beautiful relaxing stay! The condo had everything and more! The lanai is the star of the place! Updated kitchen and I bathroom! Nice furniture and beautiful tropical artwork! Huge library for adults and kids! Very clean with ample cleaning supplies, laundry soap and dryer sheets and a stocked medicine cabinet with sunscreen and lotions. Lots of beach supplies! Condo is bright with a beautiful breeze! The fan in the bedroom could use a replacement or an additional floor fan would be helpful as it gets warm in the bedroom. Definitely will be returning!

Lovely stay in Kihei!

The unit was fantastic & had everything we needed. We really took advantage of the full kitchen & enjoyed using the beach stuff. The unit was exactly as pictured. Location is great - right across from Kam II (great for watching sunets!) & close to everything in Kihei/Wailea. Natalie was super amazing, responded to questions quite quickly & even let us stay a little later past checkout (late flight). The staff at the office were also very friendly & helpful.

Close to everything I needed

Very nice condo. Due to the Maui fires and coming from a hurricane in Baja, the owner/manager was very flexible in rescheduling. I would recommend a new fan in the bedroom that ran a bit faster and more speed settings to circulate air. I never used the AC, and the condo had plenty of cross ventilation. Despite using the elevator, the condo was very nice.

Comfortable and convenient

We had a comfortable stay at this property. It is convenient to several beaches and I walked across the street to the beach every day.There are local restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. Lovely sunsets off the front balcony walkway if you don't want to walk to the beach.

Better than expected!

I had a wonderful stay here! The apartment complex was directly across the street from a fantastic beach, walking distance to cafes and shaved ice and the 2 pools were fantastic! Pictures don’t do this place justice, I was pleasantly surprised that the condo looked better than what is listed. Only note was that the wifi doesn’t work in the bedroom and the A/C is only in the living area. Although the ceiling fan worked well.

Cozy quarters

We had a wonderful 12 day stay at the condo. Close to beach and pool. Pull out couch was good for our teen son. Main bedroom was large, but could have used a better lighting. Kitchen was equipped with basic supplies. Blender was a bonus. Overall great condo and would recommend staying there.

Very nice condo

This is a very nice condo with a great location near the beach. One large negative was the poor TV remote operation. The book described how to get onto Spectrum for cable but Spectrum wasn't working. New TV?? Then the remote that worked for a day or so died. We changed its batteries with another remote (triple A's_ and it worked but we only got Netflix and a bunch of news stations.

Apartment is clean, everything was as expected. Great location - beach right across, multiple beaches within short drive. Lot of shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Decent views of the ocean from the balcony.

Great location nice ocean views

Super location, well appointed kitchen. The unit was well stocked with quality beach gear too- snorkles, fins boogie boards chairs coolers etc. The only reason a 4 star rating on communication was because the unit number/ address was not provided with the door code for check in. But that was quickly rectified. Be advised, this unit is near the elevators and the bedroom louvered windows need to be open for airflow meaning you hear all conversations of guests getting on/off the elevators. For us, the great views made up for it. We would still choose this unit again. All bedrooms in the complex are located with that orientation. The ones closest to the elevators would be the loudest.

Quite good condo. I have stayed in other units in this building. The items in the condo could use a bit of updating. 3 of the 4 beach chairs in the bedroom cupboard are broken. There is only 1 wine glass in the kitchen along with a bit of a mish mash of dishes and utensils. The freezer door is misaligned causing the freezer to ice up quite badly. The view from the 5th floor Lanai of the ocean and sunset is quite spectacular. Although sparsely furnished, everything you need is there and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great place

Pros: Well stocked kitchen. Great location - a short walk to the beach, a quick drive up S. Kihea to places, just around the corner from the turnoff to Rt 31. Clean. Can see the ocean and mountain from the Lanai. Lots of beach stuff. Cons: A/C is only in living room. Bedroom can get warm. Other cons are not the owners fault: roosters crow at 4 AM, bedroom wall is on the hallway, and you can hear rude loud people in the hall. Overall, I would give this place two thumbs up and a smile. I had a great stay.

Very nice

This was one of the best condos we've stayed at. Everything you'd have at your own house was provided here, along with beach chairs, mats, body boards, etc... The condo complex has two pools, parking, and is across from Kamaole Beach Park 2. We would stay here again if we visited Maui again.

Lovely unit by the ocean

This was a lovely little unit in a condo complex right across the street from the Kamaole Beach and the ocean. All the right amenities, including fridge, microwave, washing machine, dryer, smart TV and beach towels! Natalie and John were always quick to respond to any questions. Wish there was a central AC, but I guess that's not very common, and the AC in the living room was fine. If we're back in Maui, we'll certainly see if we can stay here again.

My wife and I live an hour north of San Francisco near the coast on a family farm. We have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren so far (our son and grandson are pictured on the surfboard just off Kamaole Beach across the street from the condo). I am a general contractor and my wife works at our local community clinic. She also grows a variety of fruit which she makes into jam and sells to local stores. We make it down to Kihei 1 to 3 times a year and have had some great family vacations.

Why they chose this property

We first visited Maui on our honeymoon in 1974 and have enjoyed going back over the years. When looking to buy a condo we rented a unit in Kihei Akahi and decided it was the best complex for us - with convenient access to a family-friendly beach, beautiful grounds, and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.
