We are both artists working in metal but love all forms of art. We work full-time in our workshop or studio or the yard/gardens.

Why they chose this property

We love the large spaces and the wildlife that we live amongst.

What makes this property unique

We live in a quiet area on an acreage located on the edge of Crown Land, which means we have all sorts of wildlife that pass through. It’s part of the charm of living here but it’s important to be aware of the wild animals that visit here. We get an assortment of birds, deer, elk plus occasionally bears or two.
Our cabin and home are in a good position that it’s fine to observe from a safe distance. But this means to be Bear-Aware and be careful not to leave food in vehicles or outside on deck when you’re out and about plus cleaning up after using the BBQ.

We also live with a cat and two friendly dogs, especially once they get to know you.
They do bark but we do keep them in at night and they will not disturb your sleep hopefully, they might briefly bark in the morning when we let them out.
They’re great at alerting us to anything out of the ordinary.

We are a 6 km drive to Maderia Park where you'll find all your shopping needs. There are Japanese and Mexican restaurants plus an excellent burger stand. We also have a wonderful spa at the Painted Boat resort if you need a massage, pedicure or just relax in the beautiful outdoor spa garden with a sauna, waterfall hot tub and cool saltwater pool. A real luxury treat.
