Narragansett is a beautiful town that has something for everyone. With many beaches to choose from--Scarborough Beach, Narragansett Town Beach, Roger Wheeler State Beach, and Salty Brine State Beach are all a short drive away. Narragansett is close to the Block Island Ferry, which makes for a lovely day trip. Grab lobsters off the boat in Galilee! Also close are Providence, Newport, Westerly/Watch Hill, Mohegan Sun Casino and Foxwoods Casino.

Enjoy family BBQs on the generous deck off the kitchen, or take in one of the many nearby dining options. Guests will appreciate the washer/dryer, cable/internet, outdoor furniture/grill and many provided amenities. A great option for groups or mid-sized families while also competitively priced!

**Bed sheets, bath towel sets, hand towels, kitchen towels, and bathmats will arrive in a big linen bag at your doorstep. The items are packaged in plastic to ensure that each renter is given a fresh set for their stay. This will mean making the beds, as I like to make sure that is understood as part of our efforts to put our renters' minds at ease regarding the cleanliness of the linens. Starter supplies are provided with each rental. Starter sets include at least: one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one dishwasher pod, one laundry pod, three trash bags, a new sponge, and small bars of hand soap in each bathroom. Guests will need to bring anything they'll need beyond those starter supplies.

Walking distance to the beach

We had a great stay! Perfect for my husband and I and 2 other couples. We were just a short 10 minute walk to the beach. Big fenced in yard with lots of outdoor seating and perfect for our dog! We had an issue with the internet and needed to work from home but the landlords were over within the hour and had it fixed! Would definitely recommend for a casual beach getaway with friends !

Nice House

I stayed in this house two years ago and the house has been updated. We noticed the improvements right away. The issues we had was a shwer that drained very slowly. a toilet that that needed and new flapper, and an air conditioner that died. Excpt for the toilet, it took too long for repairs/

Central location to Everything

I did read some other reviews and was skeptical at first about renting this house. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The house was clean and spacious. The layout was also perfect for our family. The only thing I would recommend for an update are the beds they weren’t very comfortable and made ALOT of noise. The street that this house is situated on is a beautiful one you can drive to the end and check out Point Judith. The yard was perfect for our dog, however in the listing in shows a privacy fence and the yard does not have this type of fence it’s a post type fence with chicken wire surrounding it. Our dog does well with obeying, but if you have a dog that is adventurous I would stay with them in the yard. We had zero issue with noise except for the 4th (with fireworks) but that’s expected! Overall we would definitely rent again.

Had trouble upon arrival but home owner was accommodating

When they say check in time is 3pm, check in time is 3pm! We picked up our keys from Narragansett Properties and drove the short drive to the cottage, we were so anxious to get there after a 2.5 hour trip with 2 dogs going crazy. When we arrived, first thing we noticed was the trash piled up on the side of the house, not in any trash bins, also the key was not working, so we had to contact the property manager who assisted us in getting another set of keys out of the lock box, once we opened the door and went in we got wacked with a foul odor, we knew immediately that the property has not been cleaned from the previous guests. Upon looking around it was quite evident that the property was never cleaned, it was filthy, table still had crumbs all over it, bedrooms were a complete mess, comforters, linens all on top of the washer/dryer, sink was filthy, dishes still in the dishwasher, and in the dryer on top of the counter, floors look like they have never been swept or mopped. Staircase was filthy with sand, garbage still in the garbage, the bathrooms and the showers were dirty with sand and hair, there were bins in the bedrooms not sure what they were filled with. Once we went in the bedrooms, they were in complete disarray, furniture was everywhere, pictures were crooked on the walls, floors were filthy with sand, and peices of trash everywhere, the dressers had hair and some sticky red stuff all over it in one of the bedrooms. I can go on and on about the place being dirty but it was clear that the cleaning crew had not been there to clean prior to our arrival. There are things that can definitely use some TLC for sure, there were holes in a wall, the outdoor shower was barely usable with a hole in the door facing a house, plus the latchet did not match the hook to close the door but I fixed that myself. The doorknob to the backdoor comes off. I called Narragansett Properties who were quickly able to get in touch with the owner who sent the cleaning crew we left for about 45 minutes while they picked up, not sure how well of a job can be done in such little time but it definitely made a difference when we went back however one concern was that all the quilts and pillows that were left piled on top of the washer were spread back on the beds unwashed. The owner was pleasant while we texted our concerns and did reimburse us for a dinner night out for 4 people, we ended up enjoying lur stay regardless of all the initial frustration

Listing true to property

Pros: Walking distance to beach Many rooms Easy check-in / check - out Air conditioning Cons: House is somewhat unfinished - holes in walls throughout the house, unfinished closets - house would be great if better kept Bare bones provided - needed to purchase things like handsoap, limited kitchen essentials and brought own linens which might be a COVID policy We enjoyed our stay at the house and found the proximity to beach, ferry and cumberland farms convenient. The layout of the house is also very nice for 8-10 people. The only issue with our stay was when we were locked out of the house and did not receive assistance from management. Jess

Nice, needs a lil TLC

The location was nice, the house was very roomy but could use a little TLC. when we arrived the bathroom on 1st floor still had garbage in it and the sink was dirty, hair in it ect Their were still dishes in dishwasher, and we had to sweep the floor. The chairs in parlor we're falling apart, duck taped Lol! Went to use back door and handle fell off. Few holes in the walls...We had a Fabulous stay and maybe because it's pet friendly they kinda let it go. For the amount of $$$ we paid I think it could have been a bit cleaner. Other than that we did have a great stay!

Nice enough

This house had a well stocked kitchen with any gadgets you could need or want. The house was clean and relatively comfortable but is clearly a rental with its share of damage. When they say bring your own linens, they mean absolutely everything. There were no bed covers as pictured. Proximity to the beach was great, a little over a half mile walk. Appliances, AC all worked great.

Decent rental

We enjoyed our stay in Narragansett. The house was clean, up to date, with a fully stocked kitchen. Big deck in the backyard with grill. We did not use the grill. Fenced in backyard for our dogs. It was close to a busy intersection, but we did not hear the noise, especially with the air conditioners running. We had a problem with the downstairs toilet and it was repaired the next day. Overall it was a good rental.

Great space for a family

The layout of this house is great for families with kids - the living room is off to the side of the house and you can't hear anything from that room when in any of the 4 bedrooms. All bedrooms have a/c units which was great because we were there the first week in July! The location was perfect for us. The house is about 1/2 - 2/3 of a mile to Scarborough beach. About a 1/4 mile down the road in the other direction is the water that runs between Great Island. It's a great view and a nice place to see the sunset! No beach really but you can access the water and rent kayaks. On the corner of the street there's a Cumberland Farms, Dunkin Donuts and liquor store which is nice for quick trips/last minute needs. A few other reviews here mentioned hearing/being woken up by the church bells from across the street. We really could not hear them at all. Especially with the air conditioning running. We only noticed them once when we were outside. Overall it was a very quiet location despite being close to the main road. The backyard is big and fenced in, and the deck is huge with a lot of seating. Felt very secluded back there. The house has so many kitchenware items and small appliances - there's a Keurig and a coffee pot, every dish, pot, pan and serving platter you could need. A couple rooms are recently renovated (living room, small bedroom upstairs and bathroom upstairs), which is nice...but nothing is really finished. Missing trim, holes in some walls, etc. The house has potential to be really great if they could just clean up a few of these things. For people sleeping upstairs, both bedrooms get very bright as soon as the sun rises, FYI. A few things to note for the homeowner: the bathroom door on the first floor sticks very badly. It is difficult to open and close, and makes a really loud noise when you do get it open. The front door to the house also needs to be slammed shut in order to latch. There were several occasions where someone thought they closed the door and it blew right open after they walked away. This was especially problematic because I had a dog with me who could get out when the door blew open. I'd also recommend adding curtain rods to the windows in the upstairs bedrooms so guests can hang something over the windows to block out some of the early morning light if they want to. We tried our best to prop things up against the windows to avoid waking up at 5am every day.

130 Knowlesway Extension, Narragansett

We rented this house for the week before the labor day weekend-- overall, we really enjoyed it. The house includes 4 nice bedrooms, a nice kitchen and dining room, and a comfortable family room. It felt spacious to us, as we only had 5 people in the house, but you could easily have 8-10 sleep there. Scarborough Beach is about a half-mile away (walkable), and there is a Dunkin Donuts, gas station and pizza place nearby (the pizza place is right next door). There also is a nice deck area, and although we didn't use it there is a bbq. Some minor drawbacks: St. Mary's (across the street) rang church bells every weekday at 7:45 am; there was loud road noise (sometimes) from Point Judith Road very late at night.
