About the home
'Ocean View at Silverwater' is a 2-bedroom apartment in the fantastic Silverwater Resort with ocean views and incredible shared facilities, just a short drive or comfortable walk to the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Living Areas
The central open plan Kitchen/Dining room opens to the Living Room (with smart TV & delightful ocean views) provides space to relax in privacy. There are two bedrooms - the main with ocean views, and both have built in robes. The bathroom (with bath, shower & toilet) is also accessed off the central Living Room as is the Laundry (with a combined washing machine/dryer).
Outdoor Living Areas
The home is equipped with two balconies - a large half-covered balcony that has delightful ocean views (with table & chairs for 6 people plus 2 bar stools), and a smaller rear balcony with an electric BBQ. There is one dedicated car space for the home, plus additional visitor parking within the resort.
Resort Facilities
The resort has many fantastic shared facilities; heated indoor lap pool, solar heated outdoor pool, 2 lighted tennis courts, a mixed volleyball/basketball court, spa & steam room, children's playground & jumping pillows, restaurant & lounge, arcade/games room and table tennis room.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven with induction cooktop.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home is equipped with ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling, with the capacity to zone to individual areas.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 2 beds, plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 6 guests:
Bedroom 1: One King bed (which can be converted into two Long Single beds)
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
The Living Room has a Double sofa bed, which is suitable for two adults or children.
Please note that the King bed can be split into two Long Single beds upon request. If you want the King bed to be converted into two Long Single beds prior to your arrival, we need at least one week's notice before checking in.
Long single mattress dimensions are approximately 91cm x 203cm and the converted King bed dimensions are approximately 180cm x 203cm.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over the Schoolies period.
