Beautifully remodeled and appointed lake home on Lake Tamarack! We tried to create a relaxing, tranquil and peaceful atmosphere for you to enjoy as your home away from home. 2 bedrooms are on the main level and 3 bedrooms are on the upper level, in addition to a loft area. There are also 4 full bathrooms in our home, one of the upper bathrooms being a wet room with a luxury large soaking tub. There is also a massive stone gas fireplace to cozy up by when the weather is cool. There is a beautiful outdoor observation counter for viewing wildlife, and the peaceful lake below. Our Community offers walking trails, seasonal pools (fees apply), golfing (fees apply), horseback riding (fees apply) and gated access for peace of mind. We’re also a close commute to Ellijay, Blue Ridge and Amicalola Falls State Park. *Please note that the driveway, like many mountain homes, is steep down to the home, therefore AWD or 4WD is highly recommended*. For your in-home entertainment, we also recently completed a game room with a dart board, exercise area, pool table, card table and lounging area.

The accommodations were perfect for a large family. There is plenty to do In the community. Lots of fun hiking trails, golfing and horseback riding. The hosts of the property were very helpful. We would definitely recommend this property.
The home is spacious and had spectacular views of the lake. Plenty of room for your family to spread out and have their own space. Homeowner was responsive and they even put up a Christmas tree for us.
This property is situated in the heart of Bent Tree with access to the lake. We took advantage of many of the community amenities like hiking, canoeing, tennis, golf, and of course the beach play area. The house was lovely, clean, spacious and had everything we needed - an Ideal vacation property to create memories with the kids.
The property is stunning and amazing just as pictured.
My family really enjoyed our Thanksgiving getaway at the Lakehouse everything was ready including fresh flowers. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and a few staples in the pantry. They had taking the time to think of everything we may need and the renovations are beautiful. We wanna come back.
The house is gorgeous and very spacious. We loved the amount of King sized beds and kitchen! The house is right on a lake and our pre-teens loved swimming in the lake and taking the canoe and kayak out. We took advantage of the hiking and the beach in Bent Tree and we saw so many deer and even got to see a Mama bear and her three cubs. While in Jasper we went to the Fainting Goat Vineyards, a brewery, got ice cream and toured the old Pickens County jail. We had a blast!
The property was just like what the posting said. The place was clean, beautiful and we absolutely enjoyed our stay there. Kimberly was very responsive and went out of the way to accommodate our requests. It was good to see some wildlife while we were there. We also took the kayaks out on the lake. It was so much fun! Thank you. We will be back soon.
The check in process and the location of the property was good and easy to find.
The cleaning of the property was not acceptable because the prior tenant probably brought a dog to the property and it was a dog hair every were specially in the living room and the main floor. The house has many things to do and spend a pleasant time with the family, the only thing that we could not take advantage of was the basement where the pool table and other games are located because the heating did not heat that area of the house and during our stay the temperatures they were below 32 degrees. On our second day when we returned from passing through the town, we found that a drainage pipe from the upstairs was draining into the main stairs walking closet and from there the water was flowing into the basement. We wrote to the property manager and he quickly attended to us and even offered us if we wanted him to find us another place to stay. Honestly after such a long trip and with small children we said no. Kimberly was very kind and she sent a contractor to check what happened. The bathroom could not be used for the rest of our stay as well as the bathroom that is in the basement. The property manager gave us a refund of 20% of the rental cost. In summary it was our first time in Georgia and it wasn't bad, but it could have been better.
The property is ideally situated on a beautiful lake lot. My friends and I enjoy an amazing restful weekend respite at the property. The home has been recently splendidly renovated. Every room is thoughtfully comfortable. Made for an easy comfortable good time.
The home was perfect for my family and I to make memories. Each family had their own room and the kids were excited to share a space. The beds were comfortable, rooms spacious and uncluttered and my room came complete with a lamp/charging station. Kimberly our host is attentive, even had snacks waiting for us when we arrived. She was also very accessible to assist us with check-in and answer a few questions I had. While the driveway is a little steep (which we were forewarned) the views from the home are well worth the slight palpitations. As my 4 yr old granddaughter innocently said “ this was the best vacation ever”. We’ll be coming again for sure. The girls want to swim and canoe in the lake the next time.
Our family celebrated the start of 2022 in this great house which was very roomy, comfortable and nicely decorated. Highly recommend it for family/ friends gatherings.

Our mountain home is our dream home. There’s something about the environment that is so peaceful. The elevation of the home coupled with the large windows makes me feel as though I am in a tree house, and I love seeing wildlife, such as deer, foraging below. Being able to meander down to the canoe and paddle the lake offers a whole different perspective of the community, oftentimes you can observe large fish and birds of prey, and it’s hard to beat the surrounding beauty! Being able to go to the stable and venture through the trails is also a highlight. We are happy that you have found our home, and we hope that you love it here as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
We looked at many home in the area, and when we found this one, we saw some potential. We weren’t really excited for a renovation, but that’s what we ended up with, a top to bottom renovation, and here we are! I would classify our home as more of a comfortable contemporary feel, and we’ve really tried to think of everything to make it as comfortable a stay as possible. Please enjoy our home, and if there is anything that we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, please let us know!
