Not too happy with the stay - hardly see the Ocean
I booked for a 2-Bedroom Apartment with Ocean View from 26-March to 29-March (3 nights stay) but I was offered an apartment on Level 9 (Unit 30) but it’s a high rise apartment building up to level 36. There are some buildings in front of the balcony and hardly see the Ocean. I do not think I got what I paid for. If I know the view is only PARTIAL OCEAN VIEW, I would have booked for a 1-Bedroom with City View No hair dryer was given until I asked for it. No spare rubbish bags were given. Emailed the office before my arrival for a higher level but no response. Very Poor WiFi signal and customer service. I was unable to connect the laptop with the WiFi most of the time, the speed was extremely slow even I could connect it. I ended up using my roaming data to connect my laptop for work. Apartment was nicely furnished and clean but I was only offered 2x tiny milk which can make 4 coffees. I do not think I will come back again. It’s a bad experience.

Extremely disappointing
Disappointing stay, apartment furnishing was very basic and extremely uncomfortable, outdoor furniture used as indoor lounge chairs, plates chipped, missing glassware and cutlery. No check in details were received prior to check in day. Views in the apartment were amazing but that was the only positive. With such a large number of accommodation options on the Gold Coast I would not choose to stay here again. Very overpriced for what you get.

Great location, very nice apartment with good views, good parking and super-friendly staff. Lots of dining options on the doorstep. Our apartment lacked amenities though (no duvets, for instance). I realise there are individual owners but some of the furnishings could do with an upgrade. All up it was a good stay and I will book it again. I can recommend it.

It’s all about the views
Fabulous views from 34th floor in a “partial ocean view 2 bed apartment”. We had more than a sneak peak of the ocean, which was unexpected and great, but the views of Broadbeach, down the coast, the canals, the hinterland and the nightly fountain show at the Star Casino were just as jaw-dropping especially at sunset. The place was comfortable for a few nights but we never got used to the mildew smell in the ensuite. Thankfully we could open the window to air it out during the day. Plus the bed and sheets weren’t that comfortable for us so 3 nights was our limit. But we were happy to see reverse cycle air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room as the temperature dropped at night. The washing machine was quick and easy to use and it was good that powder sachets were provided for the first couple of loads. Also initial stocks of soap, basic toiletries and toilet paper was provided which is great and a bit unexpected. Unfortunately we didn’t discover that washing up and dishwasher liquids had also been provided until we were about to leave - after looking in all the cupboards for them. The location is super handy for walking plus easy getting the car in and out of the garage to go places. We didn’t find it noisy, being so close to the highway, on the 34th floor especially with the windows closed at night. The sofa wasn’t that comfortable - a case of looking good for the photos we think - but then you’re here to be out exploring so didn’t bother us.

Great views. Great pool and a lovely room layout. My only complaint is that I asked prior to check in for both rooms to have queen beds but upon arrival the second room still had single beds. I went to reception and asked them to rectify this which they did the next day. It would also be nice if they supplied tea, coffee, salt sugar etc.

The shared facilities were very good with a nice BBQ area, pool & spa, plus billiard table and table tennis table. The kitchen facilities inside the unit were a little sparse with not enough plates, cultery, placemats, etc for 6. Also cooking pots & pans, serving utensils were a little lacking.
