A great spot in Porto

This is a small hotel. The hostess, Sonia, is an absolute gem.. she couldn’t do enough to help and has lots of suggestions for what to see and do around Porto. Beds were comfortable, tea , coffee and a welcome free glass of port provided when we arrived. Very close to most of what you want to see. The hills of Porto are a challenge but well worth it for a wonderful travel experience. Would most definitely stay here again. There is a laundromat and a little supermarket within 5 minutes of the hotel and the Sao Bento railway station and metro is about 10 minutes walk.

Best Stay in Porto!

We’re so happy we chose Casa Caldeireiros for our stay in Porto! We arrived over an hour early and informed Diogo and Sonia, who were able to accommodate an early check-in at no extra charge. Sonia was amazing! She was extremely friendly and welcoming, and provided a lot of useful information about the property and surrounding area. The room and property were very clean and smelled lovely and fresh. The property is well located and easily accessible by car or walking. There were plenty of nearby options for food, drinks and entertainment. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Porto! Thank you so much Sonia & Diogo for a wonderful stay ♥️

Perfect place to stay in porto

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Porto, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, Sonia, the host, went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. Her warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail truly made me feel at home. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and ideally located, making it easy to explore the beautiful city. Every morning, I was greeted earlier in the day, and Sonia was always ready to offer helpful recommendations for local restaurants, sights, and hidden gems. The apartment is close enough to a lot of the sights but also far enough from the noise and large gathering of tourists. The room is well spaced, with great ammenties and superb bathroom. If you're looking for a place where you’ll be treated like family, with top-notch service and comfort, I highly recommend this hotel. Sonia’s kindness and care made this stay unforgettable! Can’t wait to return!

We had a great time in Casa dos Caldeireros, which is located right in the city center. Sónia was an excellent host and gave good recommendations on places to visit. There was complimentary port wine waiting in the room when we arrived, which was a nice touch. Our room Namorados had a beautiful view of the city, couldn't get enough of it. Wish we can come back one day!

Sonia는 매우 친절하고, 포르투에서 봐야할 곳, 포르투 맛집 등을 알려주며 영어로 친절하게 안내해주고 짐도 같이 들어주었습니다. 매우매우 친절해서 감사했습니다❤️ 시티뷰였는데 만족스러웠고 강가도 살짝 보이고 주황지붕이 아름다웠고 갈매기들이 날아다니는 것도 보였습니다. 오르막길이 살짝있지만 어렵지 않았고, 주변에 랜드마크가 가까워서 걸어다니기도 좋았습니다. 다음에 묵는다면 여기서 또 묵을예정입니다. Sonia 항상 건강하세요!

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, die gesamte Altstadt ist fußläufig erreichbar. Sie ist modern renoviert, hat trotzdem antiken Charme und ist sehr sauber. Es gibt eine sehr nette und engagierte "Hausdame", die gut erreichbar ist und sich um die Anliegen der Gäste kümmert. Wir können dieses Apartment auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Kleiner Minuspunkt: es gibt wenig Stauraum für Kleidung.

Peaceful retreat in congested Porto

Characterful room with lovely view of the cathedral plus large terrace (outdoor furniture needs a good wipe clean though!). Very central and fitted with useful kitchenette. Porto is not coping well with the large influx of tourists so it was great to come back to my comfortable room which was a quiet oasis. Sonia the on-site manager was extremely warm, friendly and helpful.

Such a great place to stay to explore Porto with ease and what a beautiful morning and evening view. The Casa is super conveniently located -- in downtown Porto, close to Ponte de Luis, the plaza, waterfront, a bus ride away from Matosinhos, and just by Sao Bento and other metros. While you might not hear right away from property management, it is worth following up and calling. Once there, Sonia is absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful! We hope our next stay in Porto will be back here!
