A great stopover

There was a lot of noise at night and early morning from cars and people at the back of our unit which was right where the bed head was. Apart from that it was great.

The property is not in good condition and is not cleaned properly. There were many mosquitoes during check-in and throughout the stay. The fans have a lot of dust on them, and the swimming pool is not clean.

Everything we needed away from home! Clean, comfortable units with updated furnishings. The beds, pillows and blankets were the best we've had while on holidays at hotels. Reception was very welcoming and we would definitely stay again, thank you Smugglers.

Sue and staff were lovely. Bbq area around pool was handy as we were large booking; suites were generous in size and ours had lovely balcony but rooms were a bit worn (paint peeling,etc). Mattresses were quite comfortable though.

Spacious and clean room. A bit dated, could do with a TV upgrade. The wifi was unacceptably rubbish, slow and dropped out constantly. In an area with poor mobile phone reception, wifi must be better. Overall a pleasant stay, not sure I'd stay again though.

Second time staying at Smugglers on the Beach. Peter, Sue & their staff are friendly. Location is quiet, peaceful & right near the beach. Heated pool is a bonus. Had a 5 night stay in Apartment 15 - 2 bedroom spa apartment on ground floor. Sleeps up to 6 people - Main King bed/ single trundle, 2nd Queen. Will happily return.
